Final Reflection Example: For my inquiry project, I think I am meeting expectations because I followed all the steps on my criteria handout. I created an interesting question and responded with evidence from 3 books and 3 websites. My responses were my own opinion based on my research. For future inquiry projects, I want to improve on the quality of my work. My illustrations could have been neater and I could have included more pictures to make my poster stand out. I have been asked by a close friend to write a blog entry about teaching and how students treat each other in school. What better way to answer those questions than by asking you, the students! My focus for the blog entry is Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), which is "the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions."
Please complete the survey with as much detail as you can. You can remain anonymous, but I will be the only one to see the results if you would like to use your real name. I will be using some of your responses in my blog entry. Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey. Social-Emotional Learning Survey Room Name: X7PEZMEKZ This month we've been discussing gratitude and perseverance. There are many examples of these in the world and Kayla Montgomery's story is a prime example. Hopefully watching her story will inspire you to persevere and be grateful for what you have, particularly your health. Next time you want to complain about going for a run or how tired you are after one, think of Kayla! Feel free to leave a comment on your thoughts or connections to Kayla's story. Watch the video on the amazing effects of gratitude. After watching the video, respond to the following questions. What are at least 2 benefits of expressing gratitude? How can it help you live a better and healthier life? Share your response in the comments section. Complete in full sentences. We want you to be prepared for any challenging situation you come across, especially ones in high school. When you are faced with a challenge, toughen up and stay strong!
