I have been asked by a close friend to write a blog entry about teaching and how students treat each other in school. What better way to answer those questions than by asking you, the students! My focus for the blog entry is Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), which is "the process through which children and adults acquire and effectively apply the knowledge, attitudes, and skills necessary to understand and manage emotions, set and achieve positive goals, feel and show empathy for others, establish and maintain positive relationships, and make responsible decisions."
Please complete the survey with as much detail as you can. You can remain anonymous, but I will be the only one to see the results if you would like to use your real name. I will be using some of your responses in my blog entry. Thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.
