Ladurée is a French luxury bakery that first started in Paris during the 19th century. It is known for a popular French dessert, the macaron! A macaron is "a French sweet meringue-based confection made with egg white, icing sugar, granulated sugar, almond powder or ground almond, and food colouring." It is crunchy, chewy, and sweet. If you're ever on Robson Street, you need to stop by and say Bonjour! Oh and taking a bite of a maracron would be a good idea too! C'est tres délicieux!
